Ryan Jewell
Hi there, I'm Ryan. I've worked in the games industry for over 10 years on many titles, pipelines, and engines. I've worked mostly on environments with a focus on outsourcing. I've led small art teams and provided training to many individuals, including being sent across the globe multiple times to train teams in different studios.

Outsource Highlights
Explore my contributions to iconic games like Marvel's Spider-Man. See in-game visuals showcasing my 3D asset review work. Dive into the details of my contributions.

Created From the Ground Up
In addition to outsourcing review, management, and training, I've consistently addressed asset and pipeline challenges through troubleshooting and remediation. On select projects, I've had the opportunity to contribute more extensively, developing assets from the ground up. This section showcases those significant contributions as well as some personal work.
My responsibilities included the 3D modeling and initial texturing of the main ship featured in the Returnal trailer.
I served as the team lead and principal 3D modeler for creating the destroyer ship in Helldivers 2 as well as other outsource managment responsibilities.

Hard Surface Sculpted Robot
While working at Sony I took a Zbrush hard surface sculpting class on the side with Paul Gaboury; we were instructed to find a robot design to recreate in Zbrush. This was my project and completed high poly model with some "photo real" and "non-photo real" renderings.
College Work
I graduated from the Art Institute of California San Diego back in 2014. Here are some of the work I came out of school with. Please keep in mind these are from back in 2013. :)
